To track your walking progress on the map, you need to enable location tracking services on the application.
You can do this two ways:
- When you first start the application, when attempting to start a free walk or a challenge walk, you will be prompted to allow location tracking. Hit “Allow” or “Enable” on the prompt to turn on Location Tracking while walking, allowing you to follow along the map while you walk!
- If you’ve upgraded from a previous version of Walkster, or turned off location tracking previously, you can easily enable it on the iPhone settings menu. From your home screen, tap on the “Settings” icon, then scroll down to “Walkster”, which should be listed towards the bottom. Tap on Walkster, then tap on “Location”. From here, from the presented options, select either “While Using The App” or “Always” to enable location tracking services. Additionally, ensure that the “Precise Location” tab is enabled. Once this is done, reopen Walkster, and enjoy your walking experience!
With your walk completed, you can also now view your tracked route in full-screen in your history section! Open any entry on your walk history, tap on "Map" then hit the full-screen button to view the walking route on your map!
