Walkster 3.0 features the ability to change the source of where steps and other fitness data is recorded. By default, Walkster uses your phone’s internal pedometer for tracking steps, distance and other fitness stats.
If you wish to use a different source for fitness stats tracking(ex. Apple Watch), you can use the Step Source option in the settings menu.
Tap on the Settings Icon on the Home Screen (It looks like a Gear) to bring up the Settings menu. From this menu, tap on Steps Source to select where you would like to record your steps from.
You have two options:
- The device pedometer. This would use the internal pedometer of your device to record your steps.
- Apple Health. This would use Apple Health's data to fill in your step data. If you have a Fitbit and our "Fitbit to Apple Health Sync" application, you can use the "Fitbit to Apple Health" option to transfer your Fitbit data to Apple Health to register as step data inside our application.
